Marissa Welner, Esq. completed her undergraduate studies with honors at New York University with an emphasis on Economics. In 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law and was admitted to the New York State Bar in May of 2007. Ms. Welner has been a practicing attorney in New York since her admission; beginning in the real estate and banking fields.
In 2008 Ms. Welner established Madison Consulting Services, LLC through which she has participated in a number of alternative public offering transactions and PIPE financings. During her tenure with Madison Consulting Services, LLC, Ms. Welner has additionally been an integral player in various structured finance transactions in both the public and private sectors. These transactions have included the purchase and management of various real estate holdings including a manufactured housing community in Indiana, low income housing and an industrial warehouse building, both located in Chicago.
In 2014 Ms. Welner was involved as a principal in the purchase of two communities located in Tennessee which are currently under development; these properties total over 300 acres and will accommodate between 4-500 homes at completion. Recently, Ms. Welner joined Mastiff Group, LLC as a partner. With offices in both New York and Florida, Mastiff focuses on the acquisition of real estate holdings as well as the equity investment in both public and private companies.
